Year 1: Hercules is so inaccurate!!!!!! I know how mean the REAL Hercules was!!!
Year 2: actually the Greeks would have pronounced it HERAKLES and Hades wasn’t even the bad guy! He’s so misunderstood!
Year 3: this movie is a goddamned synematic masterpiece. It is a fantastic film to introduce the ancient world, an identical elitist field, to kids and spark their interest in mythology and history.
Year 4: alright… everyone take a shot every time they say ‘hero’ or ‘fate’ and I’m going to try and finish my drink before I Can Go the Distance is over.
Classics majors watching Disney’s Hercules.
