What she says: I’m fine

What she means: A peasant girl who always wanted to be something and to have power, who falls in love with a hero and thinks maybe this is her chance. Then the King kidnaps her and she realises that no, this is her chance for power. She wasn’t in love with the hero, she was in love with what she thought he could give her. Love is weak, power is everything. Then BOOM, the King is gone and his right hand man is there and he is as sadistic and as power hungry (in a violence/strength way) as her and ‘oh shit’ she actually feels love for him. But then she’s offered actual magical power and once again the lust for power outweighs her love. She loves him more than he’ll ever know, but the magic has it’s hold on her now. But he won’t give up on her and will save her from the evil and magic, because he wants to save her from herself and her constant spiral into heartache at her quest for more power. I am ruined.
