‘I love you too Daenerys. It’s fine, listen, just because we are siblings…to be parents soon…I don’t expect you to tell me everything.” Her apologizes were heard but he didn’t need to hear them, those three words that took a new meaning now, were all he really needed. But she continued to speak and he saw something in her eyes and what she wanted to say had gotten trapped but Viserys could see it on her face. He’d known her her whole life, he knew that expression even though she tried to hide it.

“I know. But it’ll be fine. I promise. We’ll get through this as we always have, Together.”  Viserys told her before Dany’s lips covered his making speaking impossible and he held her close as she crawled on top and untangling herself from her robe, Viserys chuckled at the sounds she made and kissed her, this time would be like their first, soft and sweet. Loving. Here they were, two people, changed by events that had surrounded their lives, coming back together and now…they would be together in the most intimate of ways and nothing could change it. There was no going back.

Viserys laid on the bed, wide eyed and taking deep breaths trying to regain the air in his lungs and placed a chaste kiss on his lovers cheek before he sat up, pulling her with him so he could look at her more. “Daenerys. Marry me. No longer do I need you to be my heir or you need myself, our child…” He gave a half laugh, still one of nerves as the full weight of what was happening settled on him. “-Our child,” he repeated “Will be the heir to our kingdom and you and I will rule the Seven Kingdoms and beyond. We will conquer more than Aegon did” He thought it a bit ambitious but than again so once had been conquering seven of the eight kingdoms of Westeros.

“Marry me Daenerys Stormborn”

Relena…” Viserys started his voice going soft until he got frustrated by her words. The words he wanted to say got stuck, unable to com fourth and he found himself staring at her for a moment until he tossed what words he wanted to say out the window. “What would you have me do? Or say? Shall I never speak a word to you so you can be content on a grand marriage? One that’s deprived of lies and promises? They are and can be different if they come from a person who means what they say!”

“I do not know what I wish for you to say, but I do know that there are far more pleasant things than to hear someone say that all promises are always broken, especially when you and that someone are trying to work towards the promise of marriage! What would you think these words mean had I said them to you? I now have to doubt everything I have heard! I mean, take this courtship as an example, it started on the promise of an armistice, now how am I supposed to understand your words? That any moment your army could march towards the capitol?”

Viserys was shaking. His eyes blazed. He’d always been brought up with lies based on promises. Promises that were broken. But he knew when promises should try to be upheld and made right. Not turn into a lie.  What would he have thought had she said his own words to him? Viserys knew he would have been put aback by them and wondering what was the idea behind this marriage and if it were worth it.

“Because I love you!”

He shouted the four words he never thought he’d utter, his voice cracked as he tried to hold back his emotions that were now brought to the surface. “I wouldn’t march my army towards the capitol because until you say so, it is our army. I want to make promises to you, for you, for us but how can I when you fear I shall become like your father and break his vows and promises to your mother?!” He went on, his whole being quivered now.

Viserys bite his tongue, trying his best not to let the girls words rile him up. He could feel his anger growing with each word that came out of her mouth. “Westeros runs through my veins as well. Both my sister and I were born here and I raised for the first part of my life.” His jaw clenched as she went on and his violet eyes shifted to a near glare as she spoke of his family as she did. How dare she! He was the song of the great dragons. A dynasty of Kings! What was she? A member of a house that had branched off from his own house. A sad extension.

“My father was mad. My brother was loved by the people and he should have been King, he would have gladly taken the throne. But your father and his followers went too far. How could he say he loved Lyanna Stark when he had whores upon whores?” Viserys asked, a snort coming from his nose as he spoke of Robert and he had almost thought he was beginning to have a pleasant conversation with this woman before she insulted him. His sister?! Seven Hells, that was not happening. He was the King! The rightful ruler of Westeros.

Viserys stalked forward, closer to the throne, not caring for the guards that were surely going to stop him from going to close to their Queen. “You little wench.” He growled, his eyes burning with rage and he tried to hold himself back, feeling his nails digging into his palm. “Not everything. She may be the Mother of Dragons, a Khalessi of the Great Grass Seas but she would not have gotten there had it not been for me arranging such a marriage.”

“I helped her grow into a Queen of Mereen. I was named Kiing of the Iron Throne before my mother’s demise and after my father and brother were murdered by your father and your uncle. “ Viserys spat his words, his anger and rage coming out far to much even for his liking. The dragon was waking inside and he wanted to unleash it upon the Usurper daughter.

“You will negotiate with me. Head of House Targayren and not my sister.”  In the back of his head Viserys had an image of stabbing her in the back before her guards could come to her aid. He also imagined her, on her knees swearing fealty to him, begging for her life to be spared.
