Seeing frodo at the beginning of the hobbit makes me so upset because hes a completely different hobbit. He cracks little jokes and smiles at the silly things Bilbo does. He’s only a few hours away from his entire world view changing and taking on the biggest burden in middle earth and he doesn’t know it. Elijah Wood is a phenomenal actor to be able to embody a character in the worst state of their life and be able to go back to the character 12 years later and still know who the character is deep down before his very soul changed.
