Are people really that stuck in the stone age to believe women don’t willingly enjoy CB movies of their own accord without the influence of men or boyfriends?
People I’m Referring to: Well, DC/DCEU is made more for men, and their girlfriend’s get dragged along to see them.
Meanwhile in DC/DCEU products:
Just saying, Zack’s DCEU movies in particular are 100% directed towards the female gaze.
The lingering panning shots up Clark’s abs as he holds up the oil rig, and when he’s in the bath with Lois; Clark cooking breakfast wearing only pajama pants, with a very long focus from the camera on his back and ass; Bruce’s entire training montage is done half naked, followed by an artfully lit shot of his ass as he angsts in the showers; lingering shots of Clark’s wet, rippling back muscles as he leans down to kiss Lois.
a piece of advice my dad gave me and I’ve never forgotten is, “if you won’t worry about it in 4 months, don’t worry about it now.” saved me countless times, it’s a philosophy to adopt and help improve your life. Failed a test? ask yourself if you’ll think about this still in 4 months? Made a fool of yourself in public? I doubt even the people who saw it will remember it past today. Know you could have done better? Ran further? don’t beat yourself up over it, you can do better tomorrow. Don’t overthink things, a lot of negatives matter less than you think they do.
