I feel immensely lucky that I’m allowed to do so many different things. I have chosen to do those things, deliberately, but not every actor is allowed to do that and that’s an immense good fortune to choose different kinds of things to explore. They have all been fascinating for different reasons. Now in your position it’s a strange compression of all this work coming out at the same time. Whereas for me, each project had its own integrity and focus.

Sometimes the help you need isn’t the help you want. Call 1-800-273-8255 if you’re thinking of suicide.

This comic meant a whole lot to me. It was sincere in its depiction and treated the issue through the eyes of a grounded person. Not some godly hero saying everything is better than it seems, but a person trying his best before bringing her somewhere who can actually help.

Even Dan himself agrees

Arin is a wonderful person. He’s kind, he’s giving, and he’s so caring. He’s an inspiration to many and NONE of this would exist without him. Arin is the foundation of Game Grumps. He only has an internet persona of being a grump. Leave him the fuck alone. In some episodes you can hear the sadness in his voice when he explains that supposedly “He’s always wrong” and honestly that breaks my heart. Arin is wonderful. He’s such an amazing guy all around and I wish people could see that. You are NOT a true fan of the Grumps if you’re so fucking negative about Arin.

Arin and Danny should be treated as equals.

THE REST OF THE GRUMPS SHOULD BE TREATED AS EQUALS AS WELL. They are working so hard to make wonderful content and solo content but people keep putting them down by not letting them be without Danny.

Game Grumps is more than just Danny.

Danny is such a sweet man, but so is Arin. Ross, Holly, Suzy, Brian, Matt and Ryan, EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE deserves all the love.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk

after you’ve been through like a string of fandoms and you’ve decided your favourite character/s for each one, there will come a day when you will list all your faves from each fandom side by side and look at them carefully and realise

I love Gordon Ramsay so much.

He comes from a very poor family. His father was an alcoholic who beat him and his mother (he once poured hot tea over her and put her in hospital several times), his brother is a drug addict, he literally built an empire out of nothing.

He credits his mother as his biggest inspiration and often has her cooking in his shows.

When he left his first restaurant he pulled a successful Jerry Maguire

– the entire kitchen staff went with him. That tells you what he’s like to work with.

He was one of the first to give a restaurant to a female chef.

He went to prison (Gordon Behind Bars) and taught inmates to bake and they opened a bakery (Bad Boys Bakery) that is still running. He hired one of them when he got out.

He did documentaries about the cruelty of shark hunting and cocaine. (when he discovered cocaine was used by his staff he didn’t fire anyone but made sure they are offered treatment)

His kids are a treasure.

He is always ALWAYS kind to servers.

When one of his partners (Marcus Wareing) wanted to leave they got into a fight and settled it in court, they no longer speak to each other but this is what Marcus said about him after the fight:

I feel bad that the first association to him for a lot of people is this shouty TV chef when he’s truly a wonderful person.

Oh and then there’s this:

this entire episode

never forget that the reason he’s “shouty and angry” on his tv show is that he’s yelling at people who ignore the rules of courtesy and food safety and basically feed their customers poison, something which would enrage any good person

I’m re-watching Captain America Civil War and-

They told Bucky to kill Tony’s parents without witnesses and he manages to find the probably only forest in the world with a random security camera by the road-side and kills them exactly in front of that security camera while looking right at said security camera when he disables it and also fails to make sure that the tape inside is destroyed how can you screw up so bad?

imagine how many people Hydra had on staff specifically to follow him around, wiping cameras, picking up his 27 discarded weapons, paying off/killing that entire cafe he once strolled into at noon and shot a dude in.

the guy strolled down fuckin Main Street Washington with a grenade launcher, that “ghost story” reputation did not come easy.

I wondered that too – if he does everything like that attack on Fury how is he a fucking ghost-story?

Imagine that’s your job like:

“Okay, you know how this works. We’re missing a rocket launcher, a mask, three hand-guns, the corpse of the target, two daggers with his finger-prints on them, the Asset’s mask and a helicopter. All of which are somewhere in [whatever city] and have to be retrieved in less than two hours. Go!”

“Ermm…boss? There’s another YouTube video.”

“He’s a brilliant assassin they said. The best there is they said.”

For lack of a better explanation, I’ll attribute it to Bucky’s sub-conscious trying to make shit difficult for them.

*spooky sounds* i am a ghost story

was i even there?

u cant be sure

was that a breeze, or was it me?

u’ll never know…
