Relena was surprised when Viserys didn’t put up a fight when it came to the name their children would carry. “A lot of people still remember what your father and brother did, I doubt they would be found of a Targaryen ruler and according to your family’s laws, women cannot inherit, and we wouldn’t want another queen that never was, now do we.”, she pointed out, looking down at the next queen of the Seven Kingdoms. “Yes, in fact I do need a quill and paper.”, Relena declared, as she glanced towards the maids, for they had to take the children, since it would be quite difficult to write with them in her arms. “I need to write to House Estermont, right away and would you mind taking care of us getting another wet nurse? I doubt one will be enough for the two of them.”,she pointed out, as her eyes fell upon the children once more.

“And it seems we will also need another crib… truly, wouldn’t one child have sufficed?”, the dark haired woman questioned, looking at her husband as if it was his fault and his fault alone that she had given birth of twins. “Oh and I will have to speak to Lord Stark as soon as possible… though I assume I should freshen up first….”, the longer Relena kept talking, the more it seemed like she was speaking to herself, for her voice became more and more quiet.

It would take a long time for the people of Westeros to see his familes name for something other than what it was now. Madness and death. “No, we do not. Targayren laws can…could have changed. Had I not been here, you would have had to deal with Daenerys claiming her stake as Queen.” He pointed out, oh how that would have been something to see. Two Queens squaring off for the throne. “I imagine it wouldn’t have gone over as this has” He chuckled as he fetched a quill and paper for her as one of the maid went to fetch a wet nurse as Viserys motioned for her to do the task and noting to get another crib for the other child. “Joanna Lannister produced twins, not any in my recent family” He pointed out as he felt her look at him.

“House Estermont?  Your father’s mother’s family..” He echoed as he was unsure if he should pen the letter or take the children in his own arms and two wet nurses came just as he was about to take them, placing the parchment and quil on Relena’s lap. “Lord Stark. I’m sure he will be pleased to hear about the children. Shall I send for a handmaiden to help you freshen up? Though I do feel Lord Stark is no stranger to seeing a woman after birthing as he has five children of his own” With so many staff and help around him he felt as if he should be free of worry and not feel as lost as he did but as he looked about he found himself feeling a bit useless in all of this. “I’ll fetch Lord Stark?” He asked Relena unsure until he realized she had to have a hundered things on her mind at this very moment. “Yes, I’ll go do that too.” He decided.

He expected Baratheon names but it saddened him to hear there was no Targayren names but even Viserys had to admit that some of the names weren’t good ideas or too many of one name to go with. Maybe if there was to be a next time he’d convince her to name one after a family member. “In time they will open their eyes, growing stronger and less wrinkly. Remember, you and I both were like that at this age. An grew into strong, fair, beautiful adults.” His eyes focused on her when he spoke the word beautiful, meaning it more to her than about himself before he sighed happily, a wide grin spread across his face. “Steffon and Argella Targaryen. Well, if she’s anything like you, I’d have to guess Argella was born first.”

“Do not worry, the next child will be called either Rhaelle or Jaehaerys, depending on if it’s a boy or a girl. Unless of course I will be forced to lay in labour for two children at once again, in that case their names will be ‘this is’ and ‘the last time’.”, Relena informed her husband, the hint of an amused smile dancing in the corner of her lips. “We should pray that they are nothing like me, by the time my father came to seem me for the first time, the Maester was almost certain that I would soon have a place in the crypt.”, the dark haired girl pointed out. Upon hearing her husband’s next words, the young woman stiffened upon, her gaze focusing on the children. “Baratheon. They will carry the name Baratheon, it is the name that belongs to the crown.”

Her words comforted him and he nodded softly, his gaze switching from his wife and their children, and he chuckled as he heard her choice of names if they were more twins. “They will be fine in that regard.” He assured her before his slightly slumped back and shoulders were made straight, fully looking at her as she addressed the name of the children.  Not Targayrens. Only by blood but not by name. His bite his lips trying to hold back anything he would regret saying in the heat of the moment hearing such things.

“O-Of course.” He wanted to argue, to say that they should have the last name of their father as so many children did but he knew she held the power and he did not. He was not a true King and she held the tittle of Queen. “They are the Queen children and therefore the crown’s heirs.” He parroted, having heard Eddard Stark say something similar. “I don’t want them to inherit the coin flip that is my father’s madness. I pray the Seven will watch over them.” He mentioned, the tone of worry in his voice as he slowly stood from the bed. “Is there anything you need of me for? More pillows, some water…rest?” He asked as he leaned forward to place a kiss on both the babes heads.

“They’re beautiful.” He was in awe of the two babes that were in Relena’s arms. A boy and a girl. Or has the world would see them, the heir and the marriage alliance tool. But to Viserys, they were precious and he wanted to protect them. “They have a good mix of both of us. Least they both seem to have more of your nose.” He noted as he sat beside Relena and the babes and he absentmindedly stroked her hair moving some of the sweat coated strands away from her face. “What are their names?”

“They are wrinkly and red and don’t seem to be able to open their own eyes, beautiful is not the word that comes my mind when I hear these words.”, the queen mumbled. She was still tired and weakened by the birth, once child has been bad enough, but twins? The queen would have certainly not minded waiting a while before having a second child. “His name is Steffon, after my grandfather and her is Argella, after the last queen of the Stormlands.”, Relena explained, glancing down at the children, before she turned her head towards her husband. “Have they told you which one was born first?”
