Have you ever wondered what those balled up parchments were? Half started poems. Your beauty is like the sun, blinding and irritating the longer you stare for she is as unattainable as the sun….that’s the farthest I’ve got so far and the rest are far worse. Some turned into an ungodly mess of a love letter thatdrolled on and on.
None of them are good enough. I may have been trained and taught many things while growing up but writing poetry is not one of them.
There are more things in this world than flowers and stupid gifts! There are men who write poems and songs for women they desired! But then again you already got me to say yes so why try, right?!?
