Rhaegar went back to his chambers, restless as sleep would not come and let his racing thoughts calm as he tossed and turned and once sleep finally overcame him, his slept dreamless. Morning soon came and it wasn’t till a knock on his door came and he heard a servant at the door and he groggily answered as he sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
He was dressed and the servant braided his hair and pulled it back neatly. Once he was ready for the day he went to the dinning hall and ate with whoever would be there today. Most days it seemed he ate with Jennine and Cersei but it seemed like today would be a day for just Jennine as Cersei had already ate and matters to attend to. “Your Grace” Rhaegar greeted, bowing as he entered the room and spotted the blonde sitting at the table.
He sat himself across from her and looked at what food was served for the day and seemed to be satisfied with the meal for the day. “I trust you slept well?” he asked before he began to eat his meal realizing just how hungry he had been. He begun simple idle chatter with her, polite conversation and politics. “Would you accompany me today?” Rhaegar asked suddenly as an idea hit him. He’d go to Oldtown and like his days as Prince of Dragonstone and Margery Tyrell after him it would be a good idea to have someone from the Royal house be seen among the people, caring for the people. “I would enjoy your company, Jennine.” Rhaegar dropped the formalities figuring they shouldn’t have to have them when there were no one of real importance around them.
