Jennine had just been walking through the garden, when suddenly she was snatched before she could entered the castle. A surprised sound left her lips, as she looked up. She was ready to demand why the returning Targaryen why he had done such a thing. However, before she could get the words out, his lips were over her own. Her eyes widened, her cheeks flushing a dark pink. Her first kiss, stolen in the shadows of the gardens. Soon her eyes fluttered and she shyly began to return the kiss.
The action caused tingling warmth to travel all the way down to her toes, her fingers curled into his shirt. She was trapped between him and the wall, and she found she didn’t mind at all in that moment. Jennine felt so warm and having him this close, felt…right?
Finally, when it ended, the Lannister was breathless. Her eyes opened slowly, her hair glowing under the shining light coming from the moon. She looked up into his with confusion, her cheeks still red. She didn’t know what to say, her heart was pounding too hard in her chest, and she found herself glued to the spot. Her ocean blue eyes unable to look away from his, trying to figure out why he stole her first kiss.
Rhaegar was about to pull away from the kiss when he felt Jennine pull him closer and for a moment he allowed himself to linger. It had been so long since he had kissed another woman and just as he was about to place an arm around her but than she pulled away and his eyes searched her face, waiting for the fall out and for a slap or for her to shove him.
But there was silence. There was no motion and Rhaegar turned his head to see the spy was gone and far enough away for him to be able to pull away from the young Lannister girl and he gave a quick smile before he put distance between them.”My sincere apologies, Princess. I acted without thinking. I can assure you that it will never happen again.” Rhaegar now was worried about more than whispers of him taking over the throne. He had to worry about whispers of him seducing Jennine and what that all could entail. “I’m so sorry, Princess Jennine.”
