Derwent Edge is a millstone grit escarpment that lies above the Upper Derwent Valley in the Peak District of Derbyshire. It extends into South Yorkshire, where they have not built a wall to keep it out. It is popular with walkers- have a look at Mark Richards’ “High Peak Walks” for advice and adventure.
