#see I love this though because when you think about it#I know they did this due to budget constraints BUT#mages who are used to having their magic dispelled by templars#you’d HAVE TO know how to beat the shit out of someone with your staff#why waste the energy to cast when you’re just going to get the rug yanked out from under you#also what templar is expecting some mage to beat them with a stick
