This post is all about RETROGRADE Survival, since we will soon have 6 planets retrograding. We may all be a little shook by this but it actually isn’t that bad.
When a planet is retrograde it appears to moving backwards in the sky, although it’s not actually moving back it still affects our energy here on earth. Retrogrades force our focus inward which can be really frustrating, take some time focusing on shadow work.
Here’s the planets, what to expect, and what to do to get the best out of retrograde season:
Mars- June 26 to August 27
This retrograde is in the energetic planet of war and passion, in the emotionally detached sign of Aquarius. Expect hotter than the weather emotions during this time, emotional outbursts and delays are likely. Stop taking things so personal right now and find a way to chill out.
Jupiter- March 8 to July 10
Jupiter is the planet of expansion and luck, currently retrograding in the sign Scorpio. Expect travel plans to be pushed back or cancelled, and depending on your personal chart placements you may experience money troubles or more ease when it comes to money. Take this time to re-evaluate your beliefs about money and sex, since Scorpio controls sexual energy.
Saturn- April 17 to September 6
Saturn is often thought of the opposite of Jupiter, so think constriction and responsibilities. This retrograde will push you to get to work as it is in the sign of Capricorn. Don’t rush the process, take things slow and make deliberate moves so that you won’t become overwhelmed.
Uranus- August 7 to January 6
Uranus is currently in Taurus, this retrograde will focus your attention to how you handle your money and love relationships. Expect the unexpected, and rely on your heightened intuition to help you through.
Neptune- June 18 to November 24
Neptune is right at home in the sign of Pisces! This is a wonderful retrograde because it’ll help boost creativity. Focus on your dreams but avoid trying to escape your reality.
And our fave, Mercury- July 26 to August 19
Mercury Retrograde is super popular, it happens around four times a year and is known for causing miscommunication everywhere, messing with our tech devices and causing trouble on the roads. I personally don’t have time for petty miscommunications so I tend to really withdraw and focus on growing my own personal intuition through divination and meditation.
