what she says; I’m fine.
what she means: Thor Odinson when through one of the most dramatic character development arcs in the entire MCU beginning with Thor and ending all his eye-patched, planet-less glory. He went through hell: lost his parents, lost his closest friends, lost his home and everything he knew, he lost the hammer that had seen him through countless battles and he still came out on the other side with the knowledge and security that he is a good man. He came out on the other side with his brother and new friends and the understanding that he is a worthy leader for his people and that he can create a home anywhere as long as he has them at his back and by his side. He went through all of that. ALL OF THAT. And the Russo brothers looked at him and said “back to the status quo”. They undid some of his his powerful and meaningful developments. And for what? What did he need to be beaten down for? Why did he need to lose his brother, his best friend, and the people he risked everything to save? Because it was easier to get them all out of the way? The lazy writing is exhausting and disappointed and I expected better.
