May you all find peace
As someone who has no involvement in the divisive acts that have occurred, who no one knows/cares about, and as someone who has not taken a side because I have seen only some of what transpired and believe most of you have done wrong, I would like to remind you all of a few things.
First of all, I am blaming no one. I am not calling anyone out. But I invite you all to remember that it is our privilege and duty to combat i/s/f/e/t, which translates to “chaos, injustice, to do evil.” We all have our interpretations, but i beg you all to ask yourselves if your actions have been in service of the Netjer or if accusations and divisive statements have only created animosity and confusion. The s/n/a/k/e thrives off of us fighting. Not long ago we banded together to spite it and it’s misguided followers. Today I feel we have lost that unity.
As Kemetics, we will one day stand before Anubis, our hearts weighed and judged, as we recite the 42 negative confessions. Yes, it is impossible to recite them all truthfully, especially since times have changed. But I still try to live so that I have done everything in my power to be able to speak those confessions with a sincere “I am not perfect but I have tried” confidence.
8. I have not uttered lies.
15. I am not a (person) of deceit
26. I have not shut my ears to the words of truth.
None of you think these apply here, and that very well may be true but I wanted to remind you all to get all sides of a story before acting.
10. I have not uttered curses.
18. I have slandered [no person].
Live and let live. I understand block lists and callout posts can be informative and useful, but it is the responsibility of all to check and not block blindly.
22. I have not polluted myself.
23. I have terrorized none.
All of these are up to interpretation, but these speak for themselves. Ma’at is justice, yes, but justice was the same claim that Hitler made. All words can be twisted. It is not justice to call people out. Anyone. We are not judges. Anubis will judge us all. But while we are here, the internet is not a place where justice is easy, nor is it black and white.
29. I am not a stirrer up of strife (or a disturber of the peace).
30. I have not acted (or judged) with undue haste.
31. I have not pried into matters.
32. I have not multiplied my words in speaking.
33. I have wronged none, I have done no evil.
I trust you all will understand these and infer my points. Whether you think you have done no wrong or not, I beg you to try and live by these especially. Before you all attack me on 29, I interpret “the peace” as a utopia. Countries with injustices are not peaceful. Maybe for the majority but I’m not saying that peace is the priority. If we can, I believe all should fight against injustice, but remember, we fight smarter, not harder. Individuals should not put themselves in danger to speak out.
We are Kemetic. We follow the Netjer, major and minor, and we strive to live in Ma’at. I will not speak for Them, nor even try to claim what they may think about all of this, but it is our duty to fight i/s/f/e/t.
