Some of y’all really think the reason we don’t worship the s/n/a/k/e is because kemetics hate, like, chaos/death/violent/destructive Gods… which is hilarious considering the Gods we worship.

Look at Set, God of Chaos!
The huge number of funerary and death Gods we love and worship!
Sekhmet, Whose main myth involves Her becoming overwhelmed with bloodlust!
All of the many Gods with a war aspect!

the s/n/a/k/e isn’t chaos, or death, or violence, or destruction. All of those things can have their place in upholding Maat. The s/n/a/k/e is nothing. It is uncreation. It is a void and it seeks to swallow every good thing- every thing at all. It is and always has been fought against. Every God fights against it. Ra, Set, Sekhmet, Ma’ahes, Wesir, even the ‘gentle’ Gods like Bast or Hethert. All of Them seek to dilute its power, to tear it into pieces and scatter it so far it cannot come together again. It doesn’t have a motive or a sad backstory or anything to justify why it does this. it merely is. and seeks to make everything not be.
