dude, I saw your post about people trying to use Percy to erase female character’s relationships and I love it so much oh my god. I read the series back when I was a kid and percabeth’s relationship meant so much to me, it’s hard to word it. Like Percy has so much respect for Annabeth and it’s always So Obvious and it’d be the worst thing for that to be taken away. I know people pair a lot of mlm ships for fun, but legit this is like the One good ‘het’ couple I’ve seen interact so flawlessly.

Percy and Annabeth’s relationship was so well constructed and loving and not rushed or forced at all it was built on genuine friendship and respect and in the sequel series when they’re older they’re just so devoted and respectful to each other and do so much for each other and a bunch of people listening to songs, aka not the full story, of a play based on the first book in the very long series, deciding it’s “just another forced heterosexual relationship yawn” bc they want to ship Grover and Percy is so irritating to me.

We erase female characters so we can force mlm relationships and then claim our forced headcanon ships make the shows A+ representation, guess what kiddos if you actually read the books there are genuine gay characters and relationships stop destroying what is a HUGE part of Annabeth’s character.
