Seth is the Egyptian god of the desert, storms, foreigners, violence and evil. He is opposed to Horus, the ruler of the sky whom he fights but can’t defeat. Seth also has an important place on the barque of the sungod, Ra, where he helps to fight the Chaos Snake, Apophis.
