I will never forgive the show for making people think Bran has no ties or claim to Winterfell. Any time the succession is brought up, all I see is Jon this, Sansa that…when in reality, neither character matters because Bran Stark is still fucking alive, the eldest son of Ned and Cat, and politically free of any southern Houses unlike Jon and Sansa.

Actually, no, they don’t. They’re both aware that Bran is alive but the point is this post seems to be the show itself giving off the impression that Bran is has no ties or claims to Winterfell, not Jon and Sansa themselves.

Well, Bran is (and I mean no offence) a cripple. He’s not exactly going to reproduce anymore is he? Just bypass him and jump to the remaining two claimants.
Besides, we all know that the show is going to end up either Jon/Sansa or Jon/Dany anyway…
I wasn’t going to acknowledge this with a response, but your ableism inspired me. Just because you say “no offense” doesn’t magically make all the very real offense go away. Bypass Bran? For what, because he was violently crippled for witnessing incest and treason? Yeah, that’s not horrendously cruel and unfair. And not only that, but there is terrible logic in your thinking. It’s not proven that Bran can’t have children; there was one throwaway line from Ned amidst a paragraph of other assumptions, half of which have already been proven false. And even if Bran couldn’t have children, he could appoint himself an heir. There’s certainly precedence. And lastly, the north isn’t Tywin Lannister. They actually have loyalty to their Starks and Ned specifically. They’re not going to punish Bran for having been pushed from a tower by the Kingslayer under the reaching assumption that he can’t reproduce. And that you suggest he should be brushed aside for a bastard of Rhaegar and Lyanna or a sister who is politically tied to House Lannister is gross and ignorant.
