I… honestly don’t think so. … Because his whole story is about his wife and his children. … At least for me, it felt off limits. … It would be disrespectful to him and the memory of his wife to overstep those boundaries. Now, that’s not to say there couldn’t be something in the future. But, at least the way the second season played out, I don’t know that I felt that Karen had any kind of sexual or romantic attraction to the Punisher. There could be potential for it, but I don’t think it was there this season. …I mean, I think he is attractive, but maybe not in a romantic way. I think she was attracted to him in the daring way that he dealt out justice and that it justified what she did to Wesley. ‘Cause this is a woman who is now going ‘I murdered someone in cold bold, even if it was self defense, and I got away with it. … Now every minute I’m looking over my shoulder because I probably deserve to go to prison – and if I get caught, I will’. And, you know, here was a guy who was doing what she did, but to an extreme. And in a way it sort of helped her feel like less of a monster.
