i mean look. JARVIS-the-AI was actually one of those things MCU did better than the comics imo, right up there with tony’s relationship with rhodey, pepper, and happy indisputably dating back to pre-iron man. and like. i remember being excited when aou happened and we got FRIDAY and even considering that as of cap 3 she definitely doesn’t have the fun-loving adorable vol 3 vibe that i expected going on, i think you could go places by exploring tony’s relationship with this new AI and all BUT AT THE SAME TIME idk much like bmb’s FRIDAY, this one gets under my skin bc she seems too low key acerbic re: tony and like I’M SAD OK. I MISS JARVIS THAT WAS ACTUALLY A NICE RELATIONSHIP THAT DID ALREADY HAVE A LOT OF LOW KEY SADS GOING ON IN REGARDS TO EDWIN JARVIS NOSTALGIA AND THE GENERAL IDEA THAT TONY FENDS OFF LONELINESS BY PROGRAMMING THINGS TO INTERACT WITH HIM like i didn’t exactly need a new tony/AI relationship to JUST made me feel sad when tony/JARVIS was already perfectly bittersweet and i miss this gosh
