He Before Whom the Sky Shakes, hail!
You have turned Your green face to us and smiled
You have looked upon us favorably
And brought us life-giving rain.
Lord of the Red Land, Mighty One of Two-Fold Strength!
The stormclouds weep with joy at Your presence!
Your blessing falls upon the land
To sweep away the winter for spring to come
Black soil bearing rich green life.
Oh Set, Lord of the Oasis,
Your storms roll over us in peace
Water runs sweet to slake Geb’s thirst
Yet Your blessings protect us
From lashing winds and roaring floods.
You are truly the Lord of Life!
I raise my arms to the sky in praise of You, Set!
Lord of the Storm!
I touch my mouth to the ground in awe of Your Power, Set!
Lord of the Northern Sky!
