i need more of people pointing out enjolras’ privilege and chastising him when he makes a comment  that reminds everyone he’s not an sj god and was raised in the same privileged society theyre rebelling against and its so ingrained in him it shows through sometimes

No offence, but this is another gross mischaracterisation of who Enjolras is – a logical and level-headed priest of justice, who knows everything there is to know about the thing he chooses to stand for, be it politics in canon, in a modern AU, or whatever else.

Modern Enjolras is no more privileged than any other Ami, with the possible exception of Feuilly. And either way, Enjolras, modern or canon, would not say anything without first thinking about it. The chances of him saying anything thoughtless when his cause is concerned are zero.

The Amis are not tumblr SJWs – they are not “rebelling” against a privileged society – they want everyone in that society to have the same chances at achieving these privileges.
