I mentioned I’ve been working on crafting modern and/or local epithets for the Theoi. I’m basing these somewhat off historical/literary epithets and titles but more off of my personal ideas, relationships, etc. In some cases, I’ve tried to adapt or update traditional epithets; in others, I’ve attached modern concepts or terms – my epithets are intended to be additions to, not replacements of, the traditional epithets, so I haven’t included anything that’s already explicitly covered. These lists are extremely in-progress; I’ll try to remember to update them on here as I update them in my notebook. They’re also in English because I have roughly zero knowledge of Greek. (If anyone gets an itch to translate them all into Greek, um, friggin go for it, but I’m not holding my breath :P)

I have feelings about Athena, which is fair since she’s (one of) my patron(s), so this list may end up much longer:
- Athena of the libraries
- Athena of research/Athena of the universities
- Athena of City Hall
- Athena of the Riverwalk
- Athena of museums
- Athena of teachers
- Athena Frenchman
- Athena of Hollygrove (for reasons, okay)
- Athena of the levees
- Athena of canals
- Athena of the Coast Guard
- Athena of the National Guard
- Athena of air-conditioning (I CAN’T BELIEVE I ALMOST FORGOT THIS)
- Athena of marble
- Athena of Freret
- Athena of lawyers/of the law
- Athena of the Peristyle (because I said so. shh.)
- Courthouse Athena
- Athena of Charity Hospital
- Athena of the bridges
- Athena of the baton
- Athena of Baton Rouge
- Athena of Tigers (worshiped at LSU ofc)
*A note on the bajillion little festivals and stuff we have: I don’t have “Athena of the French Market, Athena of French Quarter Fest, etc” all listed, because I feel like Athena Erganê covers all of that, and I’m just trying to see what I can add in terms of epithets. Likewise, Athena Hippia for the Fairgrounds is almost certainly a thing, but again, that epithet already exists, so it’s not on the list.
