She watched him fall

She told Anakin to keep running after the ‘assassin’, that she would make sure Obi Wan was okay. Yes, he fell off a building, and was shot in the shoulder, but he had survived worse, right? Don’t worry Anakin, I know he’s fine,

Keep in mind that Ahsoka is still a teen, and Obi Wan has been one of the people she looked up to, almost like an older brother/uncle figure.

Now keep in mind that Ahsoka had to find him ‘dead’. Do you think she said some snarky remark about “What would you boys do without me?” as she knelt down to offer him a hand? Did her face fall after he didn’t stir, didn’t answer her ever hesitant “Master..?”

He’s on her lap, which means she probably fell to her knees once the realization hit her, cradling him as if she would hurt him otherwise.

and then Anakin comes back, obviously concerned for Obi Wan, but I’d take a guess that he never thought that his old master would die.

and it’s Ahsoka who has to break the news

she’s crying

look at how much wasted potential there was for the obi wan x ahsoka friendship

do you think she ever talks about this with him

tells him how much she missed him
