It’s going to be a very long holiday season 😒😓

It will be a really long holiday season if you spread misinformation and half-truths. Yes, sure, there are numerous holiday traditions surrounding Christmas, that were traditions that came with converts to Christianity, and gained popularity. Christmas itself, is not pagan. It’s very much the celebration of Christ’s birth, and yes, pretty sure we’re all aware that he wasn’t actually born on December 25th, but there’s a fairly reasonable explanation for why the holiday is where it is: Christians were killed for their beliefs, when it was still quite a young faith, and placing an important holiday near the “majority” faith’s holiday made it easier to hide from persecution. Other fun fact: Christmas is nine months after the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

So again, cultural traditions that we so heavily associate with Christmas, are not a rip off of Yule (Christmas was celebrated prior to the meeting of those who celebrated Yule). It’s a matter of keeping traditions even when converting.
