Hell is a teenage girl. But sometimes spring is too.

Persephone is the dangerous teenage girl incarnate.
She wears a pretty little school skirt which never slides above her knees,
unless she hikes it up behind the stands for the one her lips thirst for. Her face they call angelic, all blue eyes and smiles that put dimples in her blushing cheeks, as boys try and fail to make her giggle at all the stupid things they say just to see the frilly lace of her underwear.

Everyone always expects so much out of teenage girls, to be virginal and sinful at the same time, and ‘slut’ rolls over so many tongues for so many reasons. But Persephone is bored, bored, bored with the pink and the lollipops and ‘let’s play shy’ glances. Bored with stupid boys who touch her body and then pretend they are shocked when she tells them not to – she can make the flowers grow in their lungs and, although they are beautiful, they are deadly. Much like her. After all, she is not here to get a boyfriend – she wants a  k i n g d o m.
